I write about gloomy stuff - grief, mortality, dysfunctional families - with humour, frankness, and a female gaze. We live in volatile times, and the best way to make sense of it all is to tell stories that shine through the darkness.I enjoy working in a variety of mediums, but TV writing is my happy place. My debut dramedy, A Remarkable Woman, was developed through MIDPOINT Series Launch, recently won Best Co-Production Pitch at Seriencamp, and is currently in development as a UK-France co-production. My second series, Veles, was selected for the Series Mania Writers’ Campus.Originally from Izmail, Ukraine, I now live in Toronto. Formerly a journalist and a visual effects production coordinator, I currently work in creative operations in the field of 3D art and motion design.
